10.When using the kettle at temperatures of 176°F or 212°F,the slight contraction and air pressure shock of the silicone seal inside the lid when opened and exposed to the cold will cause the kettle to seal poorly and may leak with the risk of burns.It is therefore recommended that you allow the lid to cool for a few moments before replacing it.
